Kelly Thompson was recognized as Official of the Year for Gymnastics and was an overall Finalist for Official of the Year. An official for 43 years, Kelly has most recently judged at the Elite Canada, International Grizzly Classic and 2025 Canadian Championships and is the highest International Gymnastics Federation official in the province. As a Senior Lab instructor in the StFX Human Kinetics department, he also leads the popular StFx Community Recreational Gymnastics Program.
