AFP Declaration Forms

Applied Forensic Psychology Declaration Forms

The Applied Forensic Psychology (AFP) program is a direct-entry program that can be completed as part of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Students are required to fill out the declaration form for the degree in which they are enrolled. The declaration form you complete will depend on if you are pursuing a BA or a BSc in Applied Forensic Psychology. The declaration forms can be found here.

The AFP program degree options are:

  • BA Major
  • BA Joint Major
  • BA Honours
  • BA Honours with Subsidiary
  • BSc Major
  • BSc Major with Business Administration
  • BSc Honours

Students must complete the following checklist which outlines the program requirements that must be included on your declaration form to complete a degree in AFP.

Applied Forensic Psychology Program Checklist

Applied Forensic Psychology students MUST submit their completed declaration form to the Program Coordinator, Dr. Christopher Lively (clively@stfx.ca), by the end of their second year. Note: you will need to designate some of the credits as electives in your program as they will not all fit into the Major or Honours section of your degree pattern. See the Academic Calendar for the course and credit requirements for each degree option.

Students who are already enrolled at StFX and wish to transfer into the AFP program are eligible to apply to transfer into the program. Refer to the How to Transfer document for more information.
